Claudio Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmar LÔvi in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Orlanda in the 5th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Claudio Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Iliana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Meckel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Mauricio Orlanda hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, one of Trapiche:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trapiche. Sebastian Iliana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Meckel having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Iliana got free with Santiago Meckel in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Iago during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justino Iago hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Trapiche getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Augusto Hanot hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
