With an all-out effort, Zuberbühler FC's Silverio Gonsalve threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristobal Markel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristobal Markel came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silverio Gonsalve could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Paulo Garin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silverio Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Edorta in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vairis Saule to maneuver through the defense. When Saverio Deunoro came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pegaso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Deunoro couldn't finish the play. After 32 minutes, Jairo Valery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso and the Zuberbühler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jairo Valery hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zuberbühler FC's Eustacio Mantzio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Paulo Garin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuberbühler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Paulo Garin got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vairis Saule didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso's zone, Paulo Garin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Gonsalve came out of the goal and Paulo Garin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pegaso's Baltasar Chap was substituted for Lucas Oalo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Markel was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lino Edorta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri, 3-1. In the 57th minute, Eustacio Mantzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Goito. After 60 minutes of play, Pegaso's Lino Edorta made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jonathan Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Edorta in the 64th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Paulo Garin got a free kick in the 65th minute. Baltasar Chap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a huge save. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Edorta in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Zbikowski to maneuver through the defense. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. With an all-out effort, Pegaso's Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lino Edorta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, Casimiro Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Pegaso's Silverio Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Romero in the 94th minute of play.
