After a defensive mix-up in NECKER49's zone, German Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Feo came out of the goal and German Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Gipuzkoa in the 12th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Mauro Feo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goalkeeper Mauro Feo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Reynardo. Mauro Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Gipuzkoa in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, German Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Tonete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Osoro in the 29th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper 龚扬强 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 龚扬强 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Lavalle in the 30th minute of the match. When Eliseo Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Eliseo Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Xacintu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberbühler FC's zone, Raul Raymon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 龚扬强 came out of the goal and Raul Raymon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Luisito Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 45 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Xacintu. 龚扬强 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Osoro went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Pasqual to strike the kick off in the second half. Zuberbühler FC's Mehmet Halis Kutsalmis got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luisito Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Reynardo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mauro Feo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler FC. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Narciso Jesco replaced Mehmet Halis Kutsalmis. In the 63rd match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Beltran to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Luisito Reynardo got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Luisito Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 龚扬强 came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by NECKER49's Hipolito Azevedo. But to his dismay, Hipolito Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zuberbühler FC's Jorge Macerio was substituted for Carmelo Corderun. Mauro Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NECKER49's Mauro Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Reynardo in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Raul Raymon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NECKER49's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Raul Raymon hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Julio Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NECKER49's Mauro Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Gipuzkoa in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gipuzkoa came free, but Mauro Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The NECKER49 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NECKER49 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
