The supporters of Palermo booed when VAMO ARRIBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VAMO ARRIBA's zone, Alfredo Fero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Astigar came out of the goal and Alfredo Fero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Betadur, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Betadur in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Betadur in the 36th minute of play. Robustiano Jerrald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Lekubegi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Santos Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Betadur in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Lekubegi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, VAMO ARRIBA's Paulo Astigar got control of the ball when Prospero Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. VAMO ARRIBA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
