Horacio Milian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Cipriano Elazar made a huge save. Pablo Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Cipriano Elazar managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when CAMBIAR NOMBRE's Horacio Milian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lázaro Kirchner's late challenge caught a Zuberbühler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Kirchner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Lázaro Kirchner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Virgilio Gonzales got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberbühler FC's zone, Saturnino Leizarraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Elazar came out of the goal and Saturnino Leizarraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Elazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Goiz went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Ignacio Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMBIAR NOMBRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Goiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. CAMBIAR NOMBRE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Patrido in the 58th minute. The corner led CAMBIAR NOMBRE's Saturnino Leizarraga to fire away a dangerous shot which Cipriano Elazar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Horacio Milian struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cipriano Elazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAMBIAR NOMBRE. After a rather tough play, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's Orlando Bieito got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Horacio Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cipriano Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when CAMBIAR NOMBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball.
