Benjamin Lehoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eneas Diez could save by the left post. Eneas Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Lehoi in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Jenaro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Herauso saved Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Placido Jenaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Herauso was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Chwalkiewicz in the 21st minute of the match. Eneas Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Quinteros in the 33rd minute of play. De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Quinteros in the 36th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Hernan Louis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Lucia de Merlo and the De Boedo Vengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernan Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polo Quinteros in the 44th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Eneas Diez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and M. Agus Young made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, M. Agus Young notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez. Eneas Diez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the match, Paul Gheară dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florentino Herauso, 1-2. De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by M. Agus Young in the 61st minute of play. Eneas Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, M. Agus Young made a precise shot to the right of Eneas Diez. De Boedo Vengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Eneas Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Agus Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. M. Agus Young might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eneas Diez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. M. Agus Young ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Chwalkiewicz. After 75 minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cipriano Aresti who took care of the corner kick. Cipriano Aresti made a great header on De Boedo Vengo's corner, it was just that Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 78th minute Santa Lucia de Merlo were awarded a corner. Aldo Hartz went to the cornerflag to take it. De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by M. Agus Young in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers M. Agus Young in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eneas Diez saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. When Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Boedo Vengo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aldo Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eneas Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
