Guansa's Alfonso Lauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Guansa from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Albino Elequemedo made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Mercurio. Ñacuñán AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Ñacuñán AC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Benito Dodorol hit a great ball. Flavio Ipar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Mercurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Alfonso Lauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Otoniel in the 29th minute. Alfonso Lauro was a little too slow when Benicio Otoniel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. Alfonso Lauro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Benicio Otoniel sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Eusko. In the 44th match minute, Ñacuñán AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Benicio Otoniel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Lauro. The goal made the score 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Otoniel to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Lauro having to interfere. Alfonso Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Guansa's Alfonso Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Benvido in the 64th minute of play. Leonides Benvido struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alfonso Lauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñacuñán AC. The supporters of Ñacuñán AC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Ipar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Elorri came free, but Alfonso Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Bernardo Manni from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Pedro Mercurio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. There was no doubt that Ñacuñán AC were the better team. Ñacuñán AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
