The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yaji FC's Ladislao Tximitx got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Eigtheenstars 2's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Ranolfo came free, but Ignacio Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Suarez made a great header on Yaji FC's corner, it was just that Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ranolfo in the 25th minute of play forced Eigtheenstars 2's goalkeeper Ignacio Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Valery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Ranolfo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Arturo Ranolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Valery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Ranolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Lope got free with Yao Guang Chao in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Arturo Ranolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery got control of the ball when Giovani Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Justino Lehoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yaji FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eigtheenstars 2 the free kick. In the 80thth minute of the game Kryspin Ziemba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orlando Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kryspin Ziemba in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Yaji FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
