After a defensive mix-up in La Pantera Azulgrana's zone, Cruz Credo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Roldanillo came out of the goal and Cruz Credo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bob Marley was the one to do the kick off. When Maravilla's Cruz Credo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jeronimo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 78th minute of the match. Maravilla's Primitivo Txanton was substituted for César de Senna. Victorino Txomin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Bob Marley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pantera Azulgrana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Marley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Maravilla's Cruz Credo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Roldanillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cruz Credo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Pantera Azulgrana's Aquilino Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maravilla had won after a very even match.
