The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mon Navarro Montoya should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Lorenzo Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamiel Arnoets was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alberto Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Sarandi's zone, Mauricio Veremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mon Navarro Montoya came out of the goal and Mauricio Veremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Nahuel Bocaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Arnoets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Iztal. In the 28th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Iztal to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Nahuel Bocaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Arnoets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Ceferino Uzuri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After the first half ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Jerrold to strike the kick off in the second half. When Federico Garci fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s protests and gave Federico Garci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 50th minute, Federico Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamiel Arnoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With an all-out effort, ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s Mon Navarro Montoya threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ceferino Uzuri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 62 played minutes Ceferino Uzuri rounded San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪ made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henning Pähle got free with Mon Navarro Montoya in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The throw-in from Mauricio Veremundo in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Vasco Olarticoechea. Leonides Rosio struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kamiel Arnoets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo de Sarandi. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
