Mon Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mati Suárez sent off a good shot on target. Orlando Bloom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mon Navarro Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mati Suárez came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mon Navarro Montoya could save by the left post. After taking down the ball on La Pantera Azulgrana's corner Mati Suárez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mon Navarro Montoya quite easily take care of the ball. La Pantera Azulgrana's Mati Suárez came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Mon Navarro Montoya had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Mati Suárez in the 21st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mon Navarro Montoya kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nahuel Bocaj in the 24th minute of play forced La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Aquilino Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Lorenzo Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pantera Azulgrana's Aquilino Roldanillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nahuel Bocaj fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Sarandi's protests and gave Nahuel Bocaj a yellow card for diving instead. Nahuel Bocaj hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when La Pantera Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mati Suárez in the 58th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Mon Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio was substituted for Elias Honrio. Aquilino Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Leonides Rosio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Roldanillo. La Pantera Azulgrana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Rosio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 78th minute, Mati Suárez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mon Navarro Montoya was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 82 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Aquilino Roldanillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Rosio. In the 85th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Rosio to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Leonides Rosio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Roldanillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the match was over San Lorenzo de Sarandi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Pantera Azulgrana throughout the match.
