The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl Hjortsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Mei Zhen Kun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Karl Hjortsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tadeusz Cwojdak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Hjortsberg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Oakcroft Thrashers's Karl Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Cwojdak in the 26th minute of play. Karl Hjortsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Cwojdak in the 27th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Fafinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Henrik Hasselqvist hit a great ball. After the first half FC ZARZECZE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Patrick Crippa made the kick off in the second half. Tadeusz Cwojdak in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl Hjortsberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Patrick Crippa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Karl Hjortsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Oakcroft Thrashers's Karl Hjortsberg got control of the ball when Tadeusz Cwojdak tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Olov Wennerquist hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Julian Rakoski managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 76th minute of the match, Patrick Crippa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl Hjortsberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karl Hjortsberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Crippa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 84th minute when Patrick Crippa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jedrzej Gotfryd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Jedrzej Gotfryd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingemar Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Wawrzyniec Fafinski came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC ZARZECZE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Fafinski couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, FC ZARZECZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Biraga to maneuver through the defense. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC ZARZECZE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
