Jörn Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Shi Peng Zhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Wright to strike the kick off in the second half. Shi Peng Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffer Modig should have stopped the shot. Oakcroft Thrashers's Anders Andersson was substituted for Svante Gustafsson. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HALO HANGZHOU fans cheered their team off the field, for while Oakcroft Thrashers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
