Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelsinho Marinho started the match with the kick off. Fernando Pras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Pras having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s zone, Ronaldo Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Remigio came out of the goal and Ronaldo Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Idacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fernando Pras made a huge save. When Anselmo Vimaro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s protests and gave Anselmo Vimaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Anselmo Vimaro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Angelo Illan scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Pras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palestra do Interior's Sérgio Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Doni Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestra do Interior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuscha FC - Ψ - the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Richard Ríos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Pirani in the 39th minute of play forced Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalkeeper Jeronimo Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Nelsinho Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Remigio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Marinho came free, but Jeronimo Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chuscha FC - Ψ - booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Maura kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Illan made a kick off. Jeronimo Remigio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Marinho in the 58th minute. After 63 minutes of play, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Angelo Illan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Pras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Palestra do Interior's Anísio Carneiro was substituted for Perivaldo Gerber. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. David Vale replaced Ronaldo Pirani. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Perivaldo Carneiro took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jeronimo Remigio to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Matorin came free, but Jeronimo Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Maurinho Matorin got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelsinho Marinho got free with Jeronimo Remigio in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Carneiro in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Remigio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Ríos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
