The audience was convinced that Jacinto Pamanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Sowa was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 minutes, Wladyslaw Majerowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BESTIA GDAŃSK and the Deportivo Ortegano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Ortegano booed when BESTIA GDAŃSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Majerowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lertxun Oliver took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfred Sowa. BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfred Sowa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Berria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Pysz charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michal Pysz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK got a freekick which was hit by Michal Pysz. After 32 minutes of play, Deportivo Ortegano's Sotero Besga made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Sowa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelmiro Bachicabo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Berria. Alfred Sowa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelmiro Bachicabo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezary Domalik made a kick off. During the 50th minute of the match Wladyslaw Majerowicz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The Deportivo Ortegano fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Deportivo Ortegano's Jacinto Pamanes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
