Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lobos de Carelia's Gabriel Efraim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Soeiro during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Figari got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Figari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 8th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Edgar Figari sent off a good shot on target. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Sá in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Rios in the 14th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Gimbutas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Barovero. Zigmantas Gimbutas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 25th minute Eusebio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Rios in the 25th minute of play. If Gabriel Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match, Edgar Figari got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelo Barovero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zigmantas Gimbutas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Zigmantas Gimbutas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Barovero was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Ursino in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 46th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Edgar Figari notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Ran Zhen in the 55th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. SC Braga's Donato Sampaio was substituted for Edgar Figari. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Donato Sampaio. But to his dismay, Donato Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 62nd minute Gabriel Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Sampaio in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. SC Braga's André Jordão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Barovero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 66th minute of play. Antonio Adán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 70th minute. After 74 minutes Lobos de Carelia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Jordão who took care of the corner kick. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mürsel Oruz in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Rios came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Antonio Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Adán made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Andres Ursino sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Sampaio in the 92nd minute of play. Lobos de Carelia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
