With 3 minutes on the clock, Richard Ríos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Richard Ríos hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, C•A•M•P•FBFS's Salvador Abecia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Pras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 11 minutes, Doni Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Abecia. C•A•M•P•FBFS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ronaldo Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Abecia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, C•A•M•P•FBFS's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pirani came free, but Felix Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Felix Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Bladi Abancens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C•A•M•P•FBFS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. In the 20th match minute, C•A•M•P•FBFS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bladi Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Felix Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Cruz in the 28th minute of play. If Perivaldo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Perivaldo Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Abecia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Ferdinand Abar's late challenge caught a Palestra do Interior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Abar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Ferdinand Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Palestra do Interior fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Palestra do Interior's Ronaldo Pirani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Perivaldo Carneiro took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Abecia. Felix Abecia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 39th minute, Sérgio Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After having played for 42 minutes, Ronaldo Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pirani notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of C•A•M•P•FBFS's Felix Abecia. Felix Abecia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Ronaldo Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Abecia having to interfere. If Ronaldo Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 59 played minutes C•A•M•P•FBFS got a freekick which was hit by Bartuelo Abeita. 61 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pirani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Abecia, 0-7. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. David Vale replaced Dinei Brito. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's David Vale got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Ronaldo Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, C•A•M•P•FBFS's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pirani came free, but Felix Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Valdomiro Diniz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Perivaldo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-8 became the score in the 81st minute when Ronaldo Pirani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 84 minutes of play, Palestra do Interior's Ronaldo Pirani made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Abecia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in C•A•M•P•FBFS's zone, Valdomiro Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Abecia came out of the goal and Valdomiro Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Carneiro in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Abecia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Carneiro got free with Felix Abecia in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palestra do Interior's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
