Hélio Póvoas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélio Póvoas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Montez's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 21st minute Mário Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Póvoas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Dula made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Tomé Jesus sent off a good shot on target. Hélio Póvoas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Höijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Montez in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio Póvoas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélio Póvoas was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Igrejas could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Waldemar Dula however easily saved by the left post. If Cayetano Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Tomé Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomé Jesus got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Arrifana FC. Alfredo Igrejas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Cayetano Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Póvoas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordão Vilar's late challenge caught a NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordão Vilar helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arrifana FC! Arrifana FC's José Taborda was substituted for Alfredo Igrejas. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Taborda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Cayetano Montez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hélio Póvoas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 55 minutes Arrifana FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olavo Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Montez in the 56th minute of play forced Arrifana FC's goalkeeper Hélio Póvoas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Póvoas made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cayetano Montez sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hélio Póvoas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hélio Póvoas made a huge save. In the 64th minute, José Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrifana FC's Hu Jian Yi got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Severo got free with Hélio Póvoas in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's Amadeu Leal was substituted for Viriato Esparteiro. 71 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's Cayetano Montez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Hélio Póvoas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Montez's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Taborda in the 76th minute of play forced NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goalkeeper Waldemar Dula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Arrifana FC defense, Cayetano Montez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Póvoas. The Arrifana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Póvoas should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goal looked a bit too open when José Taborda came free, but Waldemar Dula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Severo came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hélio Póvoas could save by the left post. 89 minutes into the match, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Jian Yi came free, but Waldemar Dula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Montezs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Hélio Póvoas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th match minute, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Montez to maneuver through the defense. Mário Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Hélio Póvoas made a huge save.
