Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid Montenegro to make the kick off. Christian Proença might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute Christian Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Joinville Esporte Clube for a fine match.
