With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Machado in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Dolcet saved Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting behind. Froilan Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Thiago Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Delfim Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thiago Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fiori Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Coritiba Foot Ball Club's players had a chance to rest. Froilan Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Machado in the 31st minute. Froilan Dolcet came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado. But to his dismay, Thiago Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Thiago Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Dolcet was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Thiago Machado scored 3-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Froilan Dolcet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Thiago Machado sped through Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Froilan Dolcet. Froilan Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Machado's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 65 minutes of play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Dolcet was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Thiago Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Froilan Dolcet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Machado struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Froilan Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coritiba Foot Ball Club. In the 77th minute Coritiba Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner. Fiori Tasso went to the cornerflag to take it. After 82 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Guedes. If Thiago Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Dante. In the 88th minute, Caetano Ponta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Machado in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Coritiba Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner. Fiori Tasso went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fiori Tasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet did a great save.
