Alan de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Claudinho Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alan de Medeiros. The supporters of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ booed when Club Sacode Football CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Paulão Sena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Carlos Velloso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Sacode Football CIMZ reached it. Aílton de Brito's late challenge caught a Club Sacode Football CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Armandinho Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alan de Medeiros.
