FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Halcones's Siro Lore got control of the ball when Iulian Pietreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Arósio might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Lore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Arósio ran back to his position shaking his head. Gong Jun Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Bochinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Poncio's late challenge caught a FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Poncio helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Halcones got a freekick which was hit by David Poncio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 26th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Siro Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Anibal Gabirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes of play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Hector Grabiel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Lore was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gong Jun Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Bochinski in the 33rd minute of play. If Miromir Bochinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Iulian Pietreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halcones's Siro Lore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Marciano Cambranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

FC UNIREA Alba Iulia made a substitution. Pacho Papachantzoulis replaced Marciano Cambranes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Pietreanu to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Halcones's zone, Iulian Pietreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Lore came out of the goal and Iulian Pietreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orçun Yalınalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Siro Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gong Jun Feng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miromir Bochinski in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Halcones got a corner. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eyvar Janusson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Halcones's Eyvar Janusson to fire away a dangerous shot which Gong Jun Feng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Iulian Pietreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Pietreanu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Lore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Lore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Pietreanu in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Lore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gong Jun Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Bochinski in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Eyvar Janusson came free, but Gong Jun Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Lore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Arósio's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iulian Pietreanu in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Lore saved Halcones from getting behind. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Halcones's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petrică Cândreanu took the corner. Petrică Cândreanu made a great header on FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's corner, it was just that Halcones's Siro Lore managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 80th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Siro Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Lore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Halcones's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Cândreanu came free, but Siro Lore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Arósio couldn't finish the play. Alberto Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
