The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Christian Zaccardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Travaglini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juliusz Milko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kryspin Wyrostek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elia Travaglini in the 16th minute. Elia Travaglini was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. XMAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kryspin Wyrostek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Zaccardi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 22 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Karol Panasewicz. In the 25th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio De Nardis to maneuver through the defense. Christian Zaccardi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Kryspin Wyrostek made a huge save. Elia Travaglini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Wyrostek having to interfere. Christian Zaccardi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. XMAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 32 played minutes XMAS got a freekick which was hit by Dave Barillari. Kryspin Wyrostek was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Christian Zaccardi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Zaccardi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 42nd minute Juliusz Milko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Barbato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Christian Zaccardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Wyrostek should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Ennio De Nardis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Juliusz Milko rounded XMAS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Kryspin Wyrostek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Ascoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Karol Panasewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Travaglini struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Kryspin Wyrostek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XMAS. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. XMAS had played much better football throughout.
