In the 4th match minute, Moodys IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Arvin Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Yiğit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvin Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Turan Toktamış in the 8th minute of play. MarineerS FK's Erenay Barkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save MarineerS FK from getting a goal against them. The MarineerS FK fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when MarineerS FK's Mehmet Yiğit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arvin Jönsson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by MarineerS FK's Yenal Okdemir. But to his dismay, Yenal Okdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 24 minutes, Fatih Özsahin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarineerS FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fatih Özsahin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Yiğit in the 30th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Arvin Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvin Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fatih Özsahin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MarineerS FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moodys IF the free kick. After the first half MarineerS FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sune Hjeltman was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Çelebi Sözen. Çelebi Sözen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match MarineerS FK got a corner. Moodys IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İldeniz Öğüç ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led MarineerS FK's İldeniz Öğüç to fire away a dangerous shot which Arvin Jönsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arvin Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkan Coşan in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yenal Okdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yenal Okdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hüseyin Turan Toktamış kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehmet Yiğit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arvin Jönsson. That made the score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Turan Toktamış lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Arvin Jönsson. Arvin Jönsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fatih Özsahin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Stor came free, but Erenay Barkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Moodys IF defense, Yenal Okdemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Jönsson. The Moodys IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Jönsson should have stopped the shot. When the match was over MarineerS FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Moodys IF throughout the match.
