Despite this Sivert Fernkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Carno FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Carlsson came free, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Carlsson in the 9th minute of play forced Carno FK's goalkeeper Hayrullah İrfanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Bo-Erik Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo-Erik Carlsson made a kick off. Sivert Fernkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Vollander in the 92nd minute of play. IFK Göteborg were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Carno FK's much stronger midfield.
