The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Senna in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eron Velazquez saved torpes de iparajema from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Senna in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eron Velazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubén Alavedra in the 14th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Artur Kochniarczyk managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Alavedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brandes Matthes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Göksel Canfeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in torpes de iparajema's zone, Alp Enginalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eron Velazquez came out of the goal and Alp Enginalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubén Alavedra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of istanbulls booed when torpes de iparajema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Gierlach didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Luís Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eron Velazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eron Velazquez made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Alp Enginalp sent off a good shot on target. Luís Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eron Velazquez having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alp Enginalp got free with Eron Velazquez in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alp Enginalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Eron Velazquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Mangas was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Mangas in the 58th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Haldun Özol hit a great ball. Rubén Alavedra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Göksel Canfeda firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Luís Senna got a free kick in the 64th minute. Göksel Canfeda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Mangas in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Giec. When Nadir Yalvaç fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbulls's protests and gave Nadir Yalvaç a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, torpes de iparajema's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Senna came free, but Eron Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Zeng Chong Kang got a free kick in the 78th minute. Eron Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Enginalp in the 80th minute of play. Alp Enginalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eron Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Mangas in the 96th minute of play. istanbulls's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
