A beautiful save bye Sporting Burgas's goalie prevented a goal. Zheng Jian Yi made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Antonio Fioriti sent off a good shot on target. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Zápotocký in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Vic Angelsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vic Angelsø's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Emilio Vedillo scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ke Xiong Chen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Burgas's protests and gave Ke Xiong Chen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ke Xiong Chen hit a great ball. When Lubor Šauer came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lubor Šauer couldn't finish the play. Cedro Pantoja hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Vedillo in the 24th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Angelsø came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lubor Šauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Fioriti hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Antonio Fioritis short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Zheng Jian Yi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vic Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Vic Angelsø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Sporting Burgas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Chorchoj were winning 0-2.

FC Chorchoj's Alois Selinger was substituted for Zdeněk Zápotocký. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Fioriti made a kick off. When Vic Angelsø came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vic Angelsø couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Vic Angelsø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vic Angelsø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Mac Aron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Perpiñán made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez sent off a good shot on target. Miroslaw Piglowski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Antonio Fioriti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán got control of the ball when Dyllen Reijnders tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Burgas's Ke Xiong Chen got a free kick in the 97th minute. FC Chorchoj's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
