Beau Mercier had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Mala Kicia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mala Kicia in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beau Mercier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th match minute, Toronto United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Laframboise to maneuver through the defense. Toronto United's Beau Mercier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mala Kicia in the 42nd minute of play. Beau Mercier was a little too slow when Stasio Zawadzki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, Mala Kicia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beau Mercier. Toronto United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mala Kicia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

The wind increased when Mala Kicia made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Toronto United's goal looked a bit too open when Mala Kicia came free, but Beau Mercier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SazobaSpor booed when Toronto United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brady Erickson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Diagur in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beau Mercier saved Toronto United from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mala Kicia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beau Mercier was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Stasio Zawadzki got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Despite this Beau Mercier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Toronto United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hayden Laframboise hit a great ball. A hard shot 71 in the game by Dadá Bueno from a close distance when the talented Qurban Äsädli managed to make a qualified save. SazobaSpor's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mala Kicia in the 73rd minute of play forced Toronto United's goalkeeper Beau Mercier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stasio Zawadzki scored 5-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beau Mercier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
