The audience was convinced that Mathias de Ruijter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barış Akdoğ was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Barış Akdoğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias de Ruijter's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Mike van Zeijl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 30thth minute of the game Mathias de Ruijter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raichu JK's Barış Akdoğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Raichu JK's Barış Akdoğ got control of the ball when Mathias de Ruijter tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute Mathias de Ruijter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış Akdoğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Mathias de Ruijter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barış Akdoğ. Raichu JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias de Ruijter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mike Zoetmulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Taton in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Jean-Paul Taton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barış Akdoğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike van Zeijl in the 75th minute of play. When De Pelgrims's Mathias de Ruijter in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Henk Cardinaal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Raichu JK's Barış Akdoğ did a great save. 80 minutes into the game, De Pelgrims's Henk Cardinaal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barış Akdoğ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias de Ruijter in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barış Akdoğ saved Raichu JK from getting behind. Barış Akdoğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias de Ruijter in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barış Akdoğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. De Pelgrims's Mathias de Ruijter got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When De Pelgrims's Henk Cardinaal in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raichu JK's goalie prevented a goal. Jean-Paul Taton kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. After 101 minutes of play, De Pelgrims's Mike van Zeijl made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barış Akdoğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The De Pelgrims fans cheered their team off the field, for while Raichu JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
