Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Smuskiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match Hieronim Skrzypek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gordon Horgan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The COPERNICUS TORUŃ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grasshoppers Klucze were winning 0-1.

Gordon Horgan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Robert Kirby got a free kick in the 77th minute. Grasshoppers Klucze's Hieronim Skrzypek got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryszard Smuskiewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Gordon Horgan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kacper Charamut in the 86th minute of play. Shi Guo Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Hugon Imbor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gordon Horgan. Hugon Imbor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The supporters of COPERNICUS TORUŃ booed when Grasshoppers Klucze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgun Oktay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gordon Horgan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryszard Smuskiewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 94 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grasshoppers Klucze eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
