SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dorin Agârbiceanu in the 11 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Loi in the 12th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Moise Vlădean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Schira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ysmael Marfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Bad Harzburg. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Vlădean in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Loi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Vlădean came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ysmael Marfil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moise Vlădean took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 43 minutes, Moise Vlădean made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half DINAMO were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Loi was the one to do the kick off. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi. But to his dismay, Silvestre Loi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éthan Pichard, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Vlădean in the 61st minute of play. Éthan Pichard charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Éthan Pichard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Éthan Pichard hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Hermann Viapiano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Adrian Ciolacu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacek Matuch. SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Vlădean, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Vlădean in the 74th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Vlădean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Moise Vlădean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jacek Matuch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Vlădean got free with Jacek Matuch in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Daniel Becker managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Becker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysmael Marfil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jurek Ohrem might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurek Ohrem ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, one of DINAMO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DINAMO. The referee gave SV Bad Harzburg a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lars Schira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil. 3-3. SV Bad Harzburg were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing DINAMO to leave the ground with a draw.
