An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 13th minute of play forced A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerónimo Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Laureano Rijo made a huge save. If Eduardo Bulhosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Rijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehran Utandıbalayev in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Piara Bue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Garcia in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Dabi Saens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Rijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Rijo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by União Sport Clube Paredes's Dabi Saens. But to his dismay, Dabi Saens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leopoldo Barbosa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Edwin van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Garcia's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jerónimo Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Laureano Rijo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolaas Anelka hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Roman Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Rijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerónimo Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Laureano Rijo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Laureano Rijo stood somewhat misplaced when Jerónimo Furtado came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerónimo Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Pandapotan Mainaky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerónimo Furtado in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Rijo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. After 63 played minutes A.D.ESMOJÃES got a freekick which was hit by Nicolaas Anelka. Laureano Rijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Laureano Rijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Quilo in the 67th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Jonas Garcia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edwin van der Sar, passed just outside the right post. União Sport Clube Paredes made a substitution. Horia Taşcu replaced Mehran Utandıbalayev. A.D.ESMOJÃES made a substitution. Cassiano Brochado replaced Eduardo Bulhosa. Roman Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Laureano Rijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, A.D.ESMOJÃES's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Quilo came free, but Laureano Rijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Rijo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerónimo Furtado went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Urbano Quintyn charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Quintyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. União Sport Clube Paredes fully deserved thier win.
