The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Jonas Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Dicu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laureano Rijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by 刘洋朗 in the 10th minute. Laureano Rijo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Exército Português's 刘洋朗. But to his dismay, 刘洋朗 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandrino Souto came free, but Petruț Dicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petruț Dicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandrino Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Carrasqueira. 27 minutes into the game, Exército Português's Gergely Balázs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Rijo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Nicolas Gois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Bulhosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Rijo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when 刘洋朗 sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Madruga. A.D.ESMOJÃES's Laureano Rijo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save A.D.ESMOJÃES from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Severino Madruga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laureano Rijo, 3-0. A.D.ESMOJÃES's Nicolaas Anelka got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Rijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Gois, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Garcia was the one to do the kick off. 64 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandrino Souto came free, but Petruț Dicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petruț Dicu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Eduardo Bulhosa sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Eduardo Bulhosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Bulhosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petruț Dicu was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Exército Português's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Eduardo Bulhosa scored to the left of an out of position Petruț Dicu, making the score, 3-1.
