The corner ended in Nicu Ilieș almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Lencastre to make the kick off. Rodolfo Lencastre's late challenge caught a D.P.Aarburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Ulisses Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Ulisses Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. Nicu Ilieș was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
