Heigo Luiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Machados FC V2's goalie and right to Jiang Qing Lin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Machados FC V2's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Mailat in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Delgado got free with Rodrigo Lima in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Bogdan Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike van Kampen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Mailat scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mike van Kampen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Mailat came free, but Mike van Kampen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Mailat in the 42nd minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Mike van Kampen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Lisandro Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Machados FC V2's Bogdan Mailat managed to work through Matos Velhos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogdan Mailat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Bogdan Mailat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machados FC V2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Mailat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
