Jerónimo Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Guilherme Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Quilo came free, but Guilherme Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Prada came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado. But to his dismay, Jerónimo Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dionisio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Dabi Saens came free, but Guilherme Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Dabi Saens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to G.D Vitória de Sernache getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lúcio Lamego hit a great ball. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ilídio Veloso sent off a good shot on target. When Guido Mista came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the G.D Vitória de Sernache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Mista couldn't finish the play. A collision led to G.D Vitória de Sernache getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. António Pedro hit a great ball. With a little luck, União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Ilídio Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dabi Saens scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Prada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Quilo in the 38th minute of play forced G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalkeeper Guilherme Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Roman Quilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Prada. G.D Vitória de Sernache's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Quilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ilídio Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Jerónimo Furtado sped through G.D Vitória de Sernache's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Prada. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Guilherme Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, União Sport Clube Paredes's Roman Quilo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Quilo in the 64th minute of play forced G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalkeeper Guilherme Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, União Sport Clube Paredes's Roman Quilo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Guilherme Prada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Quilo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 67 minute of play. Guilherme Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Quilo in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalkeeper Guilherme Prada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Santana. After 83 minutes of play, União Sport Clube Paredes's Alexandre Santana made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Prada was left in no man's land by his defense there! G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guilherme Prada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save G.D Vitória de Sernache from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Jerónimo Furtado notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guilherme Prada. Guilherme Prada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
