With a little luck, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte got control of the ball when Nicolaas Anelka tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolaas Anelka got free with Duarte Duarte in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Ricardo Souto got a free kick in the 6th minute. Laureano Rijo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Rodolfo Lencastre. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Lencastre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Baldaia got free with Duarte Duarte in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolaas Anelka in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Eduardo Bulhosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Radul Tishev fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Radul Tishev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Radul Tishev hit a great ball. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nicolaas Anelka sent off a good shot on target. Laureano Rijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Duarte in the 37th minute of play. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Bulhosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting a goal against them. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Ricardo Souto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Radul Tishev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Baldaia got free with Duarte Duarte in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Garcia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Eduardo Bulhosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Lencastre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Laureano Rijo made a huge save. After having played for 60 minutes, Mateus Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D.ESMOJÃES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Baldaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Bulhosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Laureano Rijo managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Rodolfo Lencastre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 65 played minutes A.D.ESMOJÃES got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Garcia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolaas Anelka in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Duarte saved CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting behind. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bulhosa in the 70th minute of play. Jonas Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Nicolaas Anelka sped through CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Duarte Duarte. The supporters of A.D.ESMOJÃES booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 84th minute of the match Radul Tishev completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Radul Tishev a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radul Tishev to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Éder Palma who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Mateus Baldaia got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Rodolfo Lencastre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolaas Anelka might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolaas Anelka ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that A.D.ESMOJÃES were the better team. A.D.ESMOJÃES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
