Codrin Zamfira was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Monte Gordo's players had a chance to rest. Mao Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Dias in the 6th minute of the match. The Academia Monte Gordo fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Academia Monte Gordo's Christian Westerstrand looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute, Codrin Zamfira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Jorge Ruas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal and Jorge Ruas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Boruc Brysz could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Jon Oblak however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Jorge Ruas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal and Jorge Ruas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Arana Ponta hit a great ball. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Velasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Andarilhos from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jon Oblak managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Academia Monte Gordo's Boruc Brysz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabrício Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Andarilhos from getting a goal against them. In the 44th match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Oto to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Fabrício Lustosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Westerstrand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Westerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon Oblak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Westerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabrício Lustosa got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jon Oblak handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Antony Bruno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Academia Monte Gordo's Boruc Brysz in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Andarilhos's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Simon Matsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them. Fabrício Lustosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Oblak having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Academia Monte Gordo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Lustosa to maneuver through the defense. Andarilhos's Fu Han Qiang was substituted for Victorino Oto. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Adélio Infante replaced Christian Westerstrand. Fabrício Lustosa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fabrício Lustosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Oblak having to interfere. Academia Monte Gordo's Adérito Abreu was substituted for Simon Matsson. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adélio Infante in the 77th minute of play. Fu Han Qiangs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Mao Zhen Hong to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jon Oblak came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Monte Gordo's Adélio Infante. But to his dismay, Adélio Infante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Academia Monte Gordo had won after a very even match.
