Pinhote FC's attentive Osmane Süleymanov managed to snatch the ball when Abílio Severiano made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Evandro Santana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ni Guang Yong, 1-1. Ni Guang Yong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wojciech Grunwalski in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Hermenegildo Rebelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Rosen in the 27th minute of the match. Ni Guang Yong came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi Black Bats's Evandro Santana. But to his dismay, Evandro Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hermenegildo Rebelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ni Guang Yong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Santana got free with Ni Guang Yong in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Osmane Süleymanov hit a great ball. Damião Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Evandro Santana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ni Guang Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Evandro Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ni Guang Yong made a huge save. Pinhote FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Beton in the 47th minute. After taking down the ball on Pinhote FC's corner Gualter Távora fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Brudzisz quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Damião Maia hit a great ball. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bacardi Black Bats's Wojciech Grunwalski got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Waldemar Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pinhote FC's Artur Brudzisz threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waldemar Rosen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ni Guang Yong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Queiroga went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Ni Guang Yong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Hellinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ni Guang Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Queiroga in the 96th minute of play.
