After 4 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Novaes. 6 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Moutinho came free, but Selahaddin Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Șerbulea in the 13th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Long Gang Sen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Lisboa's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Jackie Banks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AMLUCHO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jackie Banks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackie Banks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Gang Sen came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by AMLUCHO's Laureano Lisboa. But to his dismay, Laureano Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Long Gang Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Șerbulea in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Moutinho in the 29th minute of play forced AMLUCHO's goalkeeper Selahaddin Esentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selahaddin Esentürk was a little too slow when Ivan Moutinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Moutinho in the 36th minute of play. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackie Banks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Vilarinho in the 44th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AMLUCHO's Damiano Formica got a free kick in the 44th minute. FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after AMLUCHO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gusmão Benevides took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AMLUCHO's goalie and right to Ivan Moutinho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AMLUCHO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jackie Banks made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind AMLUCHO's goalkeeper Selahaddin Esentürk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Long Gang Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Șerbulea, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ivan Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selahaddin Esentürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With an all-out effort, AMLUCHO's Long Gang Sen threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laureano Lisboa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the AMLUCHO defense, Ivan Moutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selahaddin Esentürk. The AMLUCHO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selahaddin Esentürk should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Șerbulea in the 64th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Moutinho in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner. Gusmão Benevides went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Fura Balizas's corner Jânio Novaes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Selahaddin Esentürk quite easily take care of the ball.
