After 19 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Kálmán Pádár. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Áron Bódog hit a great ball. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mălăele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Clarke in the 26th minute of the match. Ferenc Tököli came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Emanuel Mălăele. But to his dismay, Emanuel Mălăele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Tivadar Demeter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niculae Ailenei was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mălăele in the 33rd minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Isăilă made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Clarke got free with Ferenc Tököli in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hungary booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Joanță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary made a substitution. Rómeó Lukaku replaced Áron Bódog. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mátyás Zakariás in the 64th minute. Niculae Ailenei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Polyák in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute Pál Polyák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Ailenei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Ailenei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pál Polyák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pál Polyák might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ailenei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niculae Ailenei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Polyák in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Hungary's Pál Polyák made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Ailenei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hungary's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
