A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Anfilogino Manzi with Iulian Berceanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. James Batistuta kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. James Batistuta took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Quintyn. Fabio Quintyn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 24th minute of play. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Húsares defense, Daniel Löfgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Quintyn. The Húsares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Quintyn should have stopped the shot. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 47th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Candido Ted got a free kick in the 47th minute. Marcin Pachucki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Quintyn. Húsares's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, A4p FC Gad's Daniel Löfgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Quintyn. Fabio Quintyn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Scorpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Húsares's zone, Daniel Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Quintyn came out of the goal and Daniel Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Erasmo Damião replaced Amador Martxel. Húsares made a substitution. Teobaldo Ibon replaced Florencio Ferran. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Cândroveanu in the 66th minute of play. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Ibon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Gică Busuioc replaced James Batistuta. Flavius Cândroveanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Fabio Quintyn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Busuioc in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Húsares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to A4p FC Gad's Iulian Berceanu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Fabio Quintyn made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gică Busuioc sent off a good shot on target. After 91 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Ayala. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Busuioc in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Damião in the 93rd minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Ubaldo Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Húsares fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A4p FC Gad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
