In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Jurand Bryk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurand Bryk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Rickard Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Erserman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Diego Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Israel Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Edgardo Abdallah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Abdallah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Rickard Erserman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurand Bryk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Leonel Lastur charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Lastur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leonel Lastur hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Tobías Izamit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurand Bryk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Satordi in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Sadurni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Domiku. The audience was convinced that Israel Sadurni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhuo Xuan Yu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Eladio Araujo replaced Rickard Erserman. In the 65th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Eladio Araujo made a precise shot to the right of Jurand Bryk. Bairoletto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Zhuo Xuan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Satordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Bairoletto FC were awarded a corner. Tomás Bernard went to the cornerflag to take it. 85 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurand Bryk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Jurand Bryk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eladio Araujo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bairoletto FC's Jurand Bryk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eladio Araujo in the 90th minute of play. Eladio Araujo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bairoletto FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Inter de Chillán.
