The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Toby Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krzysztof Lodowy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Florinio in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Lodowy saved Toby Futbol Club from getting behind. In the 32nd minute of the match Toby Futbol Club got a corner. Club Deportivo Águila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Osoitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Toby Futbol Club's Paulo Osoitz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Guimarães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 41 played minutes Toby Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Osoitz. Manuel Reyes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 齐奕平 to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 齐奕平 in the 54th minute of the match. If Herminio Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krzysztof Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Herminio Florinio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krzysztof Lodowy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Epifanio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Toby Futbol Club lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
