The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paolo Herensuge came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Petre Traian could save by the left post. In the 10th minute Moises Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Traian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Cipriano Belarmo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petre Traian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Petre Traian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Gombal in the 17th minute. Congo Bongo's Petre Traian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Gombal in the 19th minute of play. Ismael Bernad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Iaki went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Congo Bongo were awarded a corner. Sergio Austin went to the cornerflag to take it. Sergio Austin made a great header on Congo Bongo's corner, it was just that FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad managed to reach the ball for a save. Ismael Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Austin in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Sancho in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Bernad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FMArgentina defense, Sergio Austin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Bernad. The FMArgentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Bernad should have stopped the shot. The FMArgentina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Congo Bongo were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Gombal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Iaki in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rdth minute of the game Paolo Herensuge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Congo Bongo's Petre Traian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Damaso Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeo Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Froilan Iaki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Bernad. Froilan Iaki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 59th minute Casimiro Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Traian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Bernad made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Sergio Austin sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Iaki in the 63rd minute of play. Congo Bongo's Petre Traian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Belarmo in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Andersson got free with Ismael Bernad in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Congo Bongo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergio Austin in the 69th minute. After 72 minutes, Froilan Iaki made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Bernad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Sergio Austin rounded FMArgentina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Congo Bongo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
