If Elpidio Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Di Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 13th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Tastzian came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Marinho in the 21st minute of play. The Barrenta SC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the game, one of Barrenta SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Lago came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdemar de Lima was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrenta SC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Valdemar de Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Branislav Velchevski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 35 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Patric Isaksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Di Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrenta SC's protests and gave Di Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Di Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Patric Isaksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdemar de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Patric Isaksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elpidio Francis struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Patric Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Lago in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branislav Velchevski saved ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting behind. After 67 minutes Barrenta SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elpidio Francis who took care of the corner kick. After 69 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Basualdo. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Lago in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Nariman Mansourian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Marinho in the 74th minute of the match. Elpidio Francis scored 5-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patric Isaksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elpidio Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patric Isaksson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 82nd minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Marcelinho Ramalho replaced Valdemar de Lima. 90 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patric Isaksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2.
