Marcell Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Dracena in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Trindade Atlético Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Rius to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Trindade Atlético Club getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sílvio Cavalcante hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Maurinho Dias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcell Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 93rd minute Víktor Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Trindade Atlético Club booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes, Trindade Atlético Club's Korhan Kutalmış shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcell Barovero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trindade Atlético Club reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Roceira SC fully deserved thier win.
