The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Furlan. 7 minutes into the game, Ahmet Necdet Baştugay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Édouard Mendy. Ahmet Necdet Baştugay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Soares came free, but Peker Baycan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergün Özver hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match, Ahmet Necdet Baştugay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Édouard Mendy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ahmet Necdet Baştugays short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Édouard Mendy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute of the match, Anıl Baran Duran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Édouard Mendy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th play minute Anıl Baran Duran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Édouard Mendy. 2-0. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when AKHisaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Necdet Baştugay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, Al-Fajuth's Maicon Zanette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peker Baycan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Al-Fajuth reached it. Peker Baycan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Emrah Ulusoy in the 35th minute of the match. Eliseu Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Peker Baycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peker Baycan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Matorin in the 39th minute of play. Peker Baycan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Necdet Baştugay to make the kick off. Maicon Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes AKHisaR got a freekick which was hit by Harun Özer. After having played for 57 minutes, Eliseu Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Fajuth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Al-Fajuth's Peker Baycan threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseu Alagoano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilson Matorin in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peker Baycan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. AKHisaR's Peker Baycan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save AKHisaR from getting a goal against them. Arslan Çubukcu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. AKHisaR's Ahmet Nasir Cihangir was substituted for Anıl Baran Duran. In the 67th match minute, AKHisaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arslan Çubukcu to maneuver through the defense. Peker Baycan made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Wilson Matorin sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute of the match, Wilson Matorin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peker Baycan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
