Lenílson Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes, Elias Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DanVict FC and the Lobos de Carelia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes DanVict FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Aguiar. In the 10th minute Nikolay Ignatiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DanVict FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Gabriel Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos de Carelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 21st minute of play forced DanVict FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeca Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Mello having to make a save. In the 27th minute Zeca Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lenílson Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, DanVict FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Fernandez came free, but Lenílson Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DanVict FC's Lenílson Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 35th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by DanVict FC's Nikolay Ignatiev. But to his dismay, Nikolay Ignatiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Nikolay Ignatiev made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Zeca Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 50th minute, which Lenílson Mello however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, DanVict FC's Lenílson Mello got control of the ball when Zeca Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeca Fernandez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lenílson Mello came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeca Fernandez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when DanVict FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Nikolay Ignatiev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Barovero. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikolay Ignatiev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Zeca Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lenílson Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos de Carelia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca Fernandez in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolay Ignatiev in the 67th minute of the match. Zeca Fernandez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lenílson Mello came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeca Fernandez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 80th minute.
