If Gómez Cruzado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Ekeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, The Swedish Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Ström to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 32nd minute Granville's Alvar Svanér took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Edgar Åström and thus the score was 0-1. Edgar Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gómez Cruzado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Granville's Başar Öztarhan got control of the ball when Niklas Ekeberg tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Granville made a substitution. Chi-Chi Branca replaced Gómez Cruzado. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chi-Chi Branca to make the kick off. After 71 minutes of play, The Swedish Nightmare's Niklas Ekeberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Başar Öztarhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Swedish Nightmare made a substitution. Jörgen Linquist replaced Valdemar Ström. 75 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Ekeberg came free, but Başar Öztarhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Granville walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
